Kadija & Fred's Winter Wedding at Della Terra Mountain Chateau

K+F had always dreamed of a Colorado winter wedding. Well that’s exactly what they got! Their January wedding day was complete with a crew of 90 Texans taking on the subzero temps in Estes Park at Della Terra Mountain Chateau. Their ceremony was a Jewish/Christian fusion performed by a Pastor and Rabi. My favorite detail of this wedding was the book shelf seating chart. Each guests name was wrapped around a book and displayed on a self for them to find during cocktail hour. My second favorite detail was what Catering By Design calls the “Wall of Flame”. This wall is full of small sipable pails of soup heated by tiny candles. It was perfect for our Rocky Mountain Winter Wedding. McCall is a fashion queen and lover of all thing vintage. We were inspired by dark academia, art nouveau and a speak easy, old money vibe. From that inspiration we created something modern and magical that I’ll never forget. McCall and Chris were married at the historic Oxford Hotel at the end of January.

Tori & Ish Modern Northstar Gatherings Wedding

Tori and Ish were the absolute dream client! They were young, SO in love and had full and complete trust in me to carry out their dream wedding day! The couple lived in New York pursuing Ish’s professional rugby career, but had always had strong roots in Colorado. When they came out to visit, we drove to Northstar Gatherings and within minutes of walking in the venue we knew it was a perfect fit. For their design aesthetic we went for a clean and modern black and white design with pops of meaningful verbiage and fun details. The bride made all of the signage herself (flex!). For the ceremony, the couple went for a ground half circle arch provided by my girls at Bustle and Bloom so the Rocky Mountains would be the real backdrop! To make a grande entrance into their cocktail hour the couple did a champagne tower to let all the guests know it was time to party! These cuties were married in Mid August and had the perfect moody mid August weather to prove it. No complaints as it made for the most stunning golden hour! JULIE & SPENCER AT GRAND HYATT VAIL

Julie and Spencer are a fun couple that wanted to bring a party to Vail with a touch of elegance. They celebrated their wedding at The Grand Hyatt Vail in June of 2023. A few of our absolute favorite details: Having their corgi, Mochi, be the surprise guest at cocktail hour, having their string quartet from Red Rocks Strings play an hour of nothing but Taylor Swift, their Beatbox drink escort wall (the groom has been involved in the company since its creation) and finally their serpentine snake like tables inside of the reception tent. They decided to go for the Tryst Chargers and gold flatware from Colorado Party Rentals for a classic touch but had fun with the napkin fold and serpentine shaped tables. The stunning mauve and blush florals and tent greenery were done by MJM Designs. They wanted guests to feel cozy and well taken care of. For that reason they wanted two lounge set ups so guests could chat comfortably when they weren't tearing it up on the dance floor with DJ Tasos from TH Entertainment. I am still absolutely obsessed with these two and I am so lucky to have been a part of their day.

Nowai & Patrick at Highlands Ranch Mansion

Nowai and Patrick were married at a historic Colorado Mansion in early August. The couple wanted to create a fairytale vibe with small elements of the brides African culture intertwined. The Highlands Ranch Mansion has beautiful vintage get ready suites for both the bride and groom where they got dressed for their ceremony. The ceremony took place on the front steps of the Mansion while guests took their seat in the historic drive. The bridal party made their long journey down the aisle from the iron gate situated in the front of the property. Before the bride walked down the aisle two ballerinas dressed in light blue tutus danced their way down the long drive to prepare for the brides awaited arrival. Nowai and Patrick were married by their uncle who filled the ceremony with love and personal details. After saying their personal vows and with a light sprinkling of rain, the couple sealed it with a kiss. The bride and groom and their party danced their way back down the aisle signaling it was time for the real party to begin. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour and gourmet apps on the back deck and the newlyweds made a grande entrance into their cocktail hour by pouring a champagne tower under the gazebo. The inside of the ballroom was adorned in white and blush floral elements, some sitting low on the tables with soft candle light and large lush overhead centerpieces down long kings tables. Each table was draped in a velvet cream linen with woven wood charges to bring in a hint of that African vibe. After dinner and heartfelt speeches the couple changed into their African attire and did the traditional Grand March and closed out the night with lots and lots of dancing!
